Poole Tourism have released their list of proposed events for Poole Quay in 2010.
Contributions are now being requested from those who trade on the Quay and, of course, who benefit from these special events.
February 26th – Rallye Sunseeker – Ceremonial start from Poole Quay
Tuesdays April to September – Coles Miller Dream Machines
Fridays May to August – Rockley Park’s Quay For My Car
May 2nd and 3rd – Folk event
Late May – Street Arts; Arts based event
June 19th – Poole Afloat/Paye Day with inclusion of firework display
June 27th – Armed forces day
Thursdays during July (5 weeks) Summer Breeze on the Quay with fireworks
September 3rd to 5th – Continental Street Market
September 18th – Inside Out Arts Festival
November 5th – Firework spectacular
December 3rd – Christmas on the Quay
Children’s entertainer sessions will also be increased during August.
100,000 Poole Quay Mini-Guides will be widely distributed to promote the events.
All are subject to change and are subject to being supported by Poole Quay traders contributions.
