Helena grew up around Dorset's activity scene. She's a member at a local watersports centre, so she's seen firsthand how brilliant these small operators are and how hard it can be for them to get in front of the right people. The businesses running them are passionate and professional, but they don't always have the time or budget to compete online with the big national platforms.

"I knew the experiences were out there, but finding them, comparing them, and actually booking felt like a part-time job," says Helena Prager, Founder of UK Activity Breaks. "I built the platform I kept wishing existed: one place where you can find a date night, a kids' drizzly Saturday plan, or a solo micro-adventure without having seventeen browser tabs open."

That's the gap UK Activity Breaks is trying to close. Providers can list their activities on the directory, giving them a targeted, affordable route to visibility with people who are already looking for exactly what they offer. It's been welcomed warmly by local businesses who've been eager to get involved from the start.
