Upton Country Park’s new Sensory Trail is now open!

If you’re already wondering what to do with the kids for the remaining weeks of the summer holidays, then why not check out this FREE (and screen-free) activity at Upton Country Park!

Designed and developed in collaboration with students from Bournemouth & Poole College, the Trail provides a new way to connect with the park’s nature and wildlife.

Pick up a free map in the Country Park’s Welcome Centre and head off to explore - using all your senses!

  The trail utilizes various elements to stimulate different senses, creating a unique and engaging experience.

  Sensory experiences change with the seasons, making each visit unique and offering new discoveries throughout the year.

  The trail aligns with curriculum objectives, particularly for understanding local environments and landscapes, developing fine and gross motor skills, and encouraging healthy, active lives.
