Upton Through the Ages 50th Anniversary Bash

Saturday 16th 11am - 7pm

Sunday 17th 11am - 6pm

Upton House, South Lawn and Walled Garden, Poole Rd, Upton, Poole BH17 7BJ, UK

Join us over the weekend of 16-17 May to celebrate 50 years since Upton Country Park opened to the public in 1976.

There will be themed events throughout the Park taking you through the ages since Upton House was built in 1816-1818. Come and explore Upton House to learn about some of the families who lived here from 1818 to 1957, see characters around the grounds in period dress, learn a regency dance or step out onto the South Lawn for afternoon tea and garden games.

If you fancy getting your groove on, join us in the Walled Garden from 12pm for our Sounds of the 70s zone where we step back to 1976 when the Park was first opened to the public.

There's music, entertainment & activities throughout the weekend, from 11am - 7pm on Saturday and 11am - 6pm on Sunday, so gather your flared friends and enjoy a boogie into the early evening with disco tracks and fun activities.

Bring your own picnic, or treat yourself to the food and drink stalls that will be available across the Park.

With free entry, there's something for everyone. Come and celebrate with us!
